For many families, the current coronavirus outbreak and all the restrictions have been really challenging. Despite what many think, celebrities and superstars (at least those complying) have to deal with the same issues. Amy Schumer is one such celebrity that has to somehow deal with the “stay-at-home” orders issued all across the country.
Her father is currently living in a nursing home where he receives all the necessary care and attention. As the novel coronavirus primarily affects older people, many nursing homes are completely isolated from the outer world. Amy Schumer decided to bring her child with her and visit her father.
Don’t worry, the comedian did not break any rules and restrictions. She took her child with her and waved a sign saying “Hi, Grandpa! We love you!” standing across the street. The short clip posted on her Instagram shows her holding her baby boy and then the camera slowly pans to show her father standing in the window smiling.
Many fans left encouraging messages and commented that such great and warm posts are exactly what the world needs amidst the pandemic when everything feels grim.
Amy Schumer moved in together with her husband Chris Fischer and her ex-boyfriend Kyle Dunnigan only recently. The unconventional living situation has been already discussed by many media outlets. However, it is not really a big deal for a controversial and edgy female comedian.
It was revealed that her ex decided to move in to work on her next project “Love, Beth” together. The trio has been quite friendly towards each other. The work on the show, allegedly, is going very well despite the pandemic. Some may say that having to stay in isolation actually helps creative minds stay focused on the task at hand.
