Conor McGregor announced that he is quitting UFC, MMA, and sport, which happens, again, because of losing enthusiasm. Funny fact, this occurs for the third time in his career. As we know, the last times those announcements helped him to get a lot more popularity to return even bigger. Anyway, he now says he is done and no longer needs UFC money; he earns enough as a celebrity.
As he said for the sports journal — this sport is not interesting for him anymore, as he says he can’t find real and good contenders. At least nothing at this moment, so maybe he will make a comeback at some point.
McGregor SAYS nothing exciting IS happening at this moment on the fighting scene.
He did this shocking pronouncement in his twitter account after the end of MMA tournament UFC 250. He is exhausted from the strange UFC decisions, they are promoting Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje in September, but Conor says that will not happen. There will be another fight, McGregor has a plan, but UFC does not care about them and does not give him any chance to implement it, because he wanted to fight with Gatheje first.
Hey guys I’ve decided to retire from fighting.
Thank you all for the amazing memories! What a ride it’s been!
Here is a picture of myself and my mother in Las Vegas post one of my World title wins!

The last two times when he retired from UFC in March 2016 and in April 2019, and two times then he made a comeback. Now he is again tired of everything, tired to fighting against organization management, tired to get weak fighters, just bored about all of this. He wants to make a real show, not simple fights. And every time his plans crushing.
Also, Conor McGregor really wanted revenge versus Mayweather Junior in a boxing fight. After retirement, his opponent said that he still will wait for the second fight against McGregor.

The age of Conor is 31, and his personal, professional result in sport is 22-4 with only two UFC losses; that’s a really amazing career. Another great achievement that he became the first-ever fighter in UFC history who got titles in two weight classes in one moment.
